Hobby Club Activities

The School has introduced virtual clubs for classes VI -VIII wherein various activities were performed by the students of respective clubs. All the students participated enthusiastically and are further looking forward to participate in these clubs to enhance their potential.

Christmas Celebrations

A special Assembly was organised at Gurukul School with pomp and gaiety to celebrate Christmas and usher in the New Year. The students presented Chritmas carols and prayed for a beautiful year to be ushered without any disease, dearth and despair. The students also presented skits, dances and songs. The coming of Santa Clause ???? had them dancing and tapping with joy, they were full of high spirits. The School was decorated with Christmas trees, buntings and colorful animated banners which spread cheer and happiness on everyone's face.

Mathematics Day celebrations

Mathematics Day celebrated to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on December 21st and 22nd, 2021with mathematical activities planned for all class.
Class 5 took part in ‘Angle Studio’ and also ‘Mathematical Treasure Hunt’.
Class 6 students made beautiful patterns using tangrams.
Class 7 created beautiful and creative formations with Origami sheets.
Class8 had everyone wrapped in wonder when they created colorful designs using Spiro laterals on grid paper.
Class 9 students participated in making budgets for their Birthday parties giving it a creative angle.
Class 10 and 9 students also participated in Mathematics Quiz where they vied neck to neck to face the challenging questions.

Science Week Celebrations

To celebrate Science week and to enhance the scientific bent of mind among the students of class VI to X, Scientific activities were organised.
The students of class 6 showcased various ways to avoid and fight with Corona and spread awareness about the Pandemic.
Class 7 students designed a futuristic gadget that would be used in future highlighting its importance and usage in coming times.
Class 8 students honed their skills to design Chaff machines which would help the farmers in segregating seeds from chaff.
Class 9 students showcased the theoretical demonstration of Newton's third law.
Class 10 students did an hand on activity on lateral displacement and refraction of light.
The activities helped the students to use their scientific temperament and come out with innovative ideas.
